Most proposals happen in restaurants. The best ones happen on yachts. Here's how to plan one without a single detail giving you away.
Step 1: Choose your moment. Sunset is the cliché — and it works. The light is forgiving, the mood is set, and the photos are extraordinary. Alternatively, a private morning sail offers privacy.
Step 2: Pick your spot on the boat. Bow deck (most private), flybridge (most cinematic), or anchored in a quiet cove (most intimate). Our team will scout the day's conditions and recommend.
Step 3: Coordinate the ring. Bring it onboard yourself in a safe, low-profile container. Tell the captain — he'll lock it in the safe until your signal.
Step 4: Build the moment. Pre-arrange champagne, flowers, a song, and a photographer. Our coordinator scripts everything to the minute.
Step 5: Capture it. A discreet photographer hidden on the upper deck. You'll get the moment of her face — that's the gift you'll treasure most.
In the past year we've hosted 14 proposals. All 14 said yes.
